A Long Time Ago: X-Wing: Iron Fist by Aaron Allston

Aaron Allston’s second foray into the Expanded Universe was no less exciting and engaging than his first. In my last entry, we took a look at X-Wing: Wraith Squadron, which introduced both Wraith Squadron and the pilots that would come to populate it, as well as introducing Hobbie Klivian and Wes Janson to novels that didn’t include Hobbie dying at Endor. Hobbie did, however, die in irrelevance to the series, making Luke Skywalker and the Shadows of Mindor still the most noteworthy cameo I have yet to witness him survive. Continue reading
